Just one of these Super Date Scones provides roughly double the energy and twice the fibre of a slice of fruit toast.


  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 6 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons icing sugar
  • ½ cup milk powder
  • ½ cup LSA
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups cream
  • 2/3 cup milk (approx.)
  • 1 ½ cups chopped dates


  1. Preheat the oven to 180C. Mix together the dry ingredients.

  2. Gently add the combined milk and cream, lastly the dates.

  3. Cut with a 4cm fluted round cutter (60g raw weight) and place onto a lined tray, bake in to oven for approximately 15 minutes or until golden. Serve with a generous amount of jam and cream!
